THE DASCOMBE FAMILY
The Dascombe family have lived at Burrowhayes, a National
Trust Farm, for over 60
years, and were dairy farming until the mid sixties when small
farms were amalgamated.
The opportunity was then taken to create what has become a popular
family caravan and camping site, carefully achieved without spoiling
the natural beauty of the surroundings.
Today, Mr. Julian Dascombe shares with his wife, Marion, the
enjoyment of meeting visitors and helping to make their stay
with them happy, comfortable and carefree.
HOW TO FIND US

WE
ARE HERE only 1/4 mile from the A39 Main Road, 5 miles West of
Minehead. Take the first left-hand turning past Allerford to
Horner & West Luccombe. The site is then a 1/4 mile on the
right, IMMEDIATELY before crossing the humpback bridge. For those
without a car, there are local bus services and taxis that operate
from Taunton (nearest train), Bridgwater, Minehead and Porlock.
